Adventures in Learning

Our Grade 3 students embarked on an enriching journey to Fish Creek Provincial Park in Calgary on Tuesday, November 7, participating in the People, Parks, Plants, and Animals Programs. This hands-on experience was designed to enhance our science curriculum, specifically focusing on living systems. I am thrilled to report that the trip was a resounding success, providing our students with a deeper understanding of the natural world.

Additionally, Ms. Mau's class had an extraordinary time at Stampede School during the week of November 20th. Ms. Mau's class delved into the vibrant history of our city through the Stampede School via the Calgary Open Minds program from November 20-23. Witnessing our students enthusiastically learn about our city's history, local landmarks, Indigenous stories, and animal care was truly inspiring. They even had the incredible opportunity to interact with and care for horses, an experience they continue to cherish and discuss passionately.

I want to extend a special thank you to the volunteers who generously dedicated their time and efforts to make these trips a memorable and successful experience for our students. Without your support, these trips are not possible. Thank-you volunteers
